Weekend

When Dad is away, the girls will play. Claire and I went to KC on Saturday afternoon to hang out with Nana and Aunt Meredith. We got the tour of Aunt Mer's cool new place and watched the MU/kU game together (so disappointing)! We were back in Columbia 24 hours later to enjoy the nice day and get ready to watch the red carpet. Hope you enjoyed a nice weekend too! Adam comes back tomorrow.

Parties! Presidents' Day!

On Saturday we had fun celebrating sweet Haley's 3rd birthday.

Such a fun party! Claire really loved the chocolate monkey birthday cupcakes that Abby made.

And she enjoyed trying to keep up with the big girls. Haley and another Claire--both 3.

On Sunday we went to St. Louis to celebrate Peter's 10th birthday. Adam took Peter and Stuart to see Star Wars 3D and then we had a family party at Aunt Mary's house. Claire loved the burritos and baseball birthday cake.

On Presidents' Day we met up with our friends Janae and Jackie at Bonkers (a huge indoore playground). First time and Claire loved it.

Claire is a girl on the GO! She sauntered around the room this evening to see what her favorite buddy, the Dog, was up to. Pretty soon she won't need any help walking around. I hope we're ready!

WHOA.

Big weekend in sports

Thanks to the Shaffers for letting us steal your saying BUT it was a BIG weekend in sports. MU/KU game on Saturday night and Aunt Meredith and Mr. Brayfield came to Columbia for the game. Mizzou beat Kansas in a historic win...next year we are looking forward to watching Mizzou play the other men in blue: UK. Bring it on, Uncle Ray!
